When does a tour start? Group tours start at ten o’clock in the morning at the Seasonality Base in Mayrhofen. But it’s advisable to be there twenty minutes earlier, so we can check your private bikes, fill up your backpacks with power bars and discuss the route. Additional it’s wise to bring your own pedals, especially when you don’t use common SPD’s but Time or Crank Brothers. Some platform and SPD’s are available for free. For private tours the length and kind of the tour and also the starting time depends on the demand. The season just limited by the weather and conditions. The main Bike Season starts at the beginning of May and ends in mid September. In this time daily group tours take place at a minimum participant of four people. Especially after the main season, so to speak of the end of September and October biking is just great when the weather is ok. Private tours are absolutely possible when wanted.
How long is a tour? That really depends on the level of the group. But the physical element and the difficulty of the trail are adapted to this level. The duration is about five hours, from the start to the end of the tour. It’s not the riding time. Because we’re not in a hurry we can have fun and enjoy the tour together as a group..
Rules on Tour!
1 - A helmet is absolutely obliged. For Freeride Tours body protection is obliged. (knee, shin, elbow, full face helmet) and for Downhill, additional back protection. Long finger gloves are recommended on every tour! 2 - Respect for the nature and other people. 3 - There is a 0,0 ‰ limit. So you can have beer after the tour. 4 - The group stays together.
